Since 2005, I have worked as an orchestral musician, as a soloist and as a chamber musician.
Orchestral
My orchestral work as a French horn player has included live performances and recordings with the following:

Whilst I was studying at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) I played in various ensembles and was principal horn of the Manchester University Symphony Orchestra from 2001 to 2004. Prior to this, I was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain from 1999 to 2001.
Solo / Chamber Music
My solo and chamber music highlights include:
- Playing as a founder member of the Animo Ensemble – various solo and chamber performances including Brahms’ Horn Trio
- Britten’s Serenade (Aberdeen International Youth Festival)
- Premiere of Robin Stevens’ Cornucopia and Dona Nobis Pacem for 2 horns
- Herzogenberg Trio for Oboe, Horn & Piano, Lunchtime Recital Series, Bolton
- Brahms’ Horn Trio in the RNCM’s Brahmsfest
During my studies at Manchester University I won a Hargreaves Fund prize each year (academic achievement) and I won both the Horn and Brass prizes at the RNCM.
